Area Operations Manager

My client is looking for an Area Operations Manager for a Midwest position. You can be based in the Chicago, Indiana, or Detroit area.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of operations leadership experience with demonstrated track record for results. Experience in healthcare (Medical) industry is a plus.
• B.S. business, industrial management or engineering or equivalent career/work experience.
• Previous experience with planning and leading logistics / distribution activities highly desirable.
• Successful management of P&L and meeting budget targets; able to meet/exceeded goals in achieving production, truck routing, and warehouse efficiency while maintaining the highest quality and safety results.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall P&L, service production, distribution, and client care
• Develop, implement and manage plans to increase production, pickup and delivery routing, and warehouse efficiencies through people, processes, procedures and equipment.
• Hire, develop, manage and lead key managers to establish strategic plans, policies and objectives to ensure sharing of best practices and optimize employee involvement.
• Responsible for compliance and safety of all operations staff in the region.
